American Dreamboats
A sprint and a marathon!
Get ready to hit the water for Paddlepalooza, our laid-back lake “race” that’s all about fun and a little friendly rivalry. Costumes and decorated boats are encouraged!
The Paddlepalooza theme this year is: The American Dreamboats. In addition to awards for the races, there is a Spirit Award for the entry that best represents the spirit of our theme.
Date: Sunday, October 4th
Race Start Time: 3:00 PM
Lineup Time: 2:45 PM
Contestants can compete in one or both races::
Sprint Race – A quick dash across the swimming section of the lake
Marathon Race – A longer challenge across the lake and back
We’ll be awarding prizes for the sprint, the marathon, and a Spirit Award!
Requirements
All participants must sign a waiver - download here (or get at lineup)
Minors must have parent/guardian permission
What to Bring
Your own boat (kayak, canoe, paddleboard, etc.) - no motors, please!
A life jacket
Don’t have gear? We’ve got you covered with a limited supply of two boats and life jackets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
